Fit India Movement conducted Fit India Freedom Run from 15th August – 2nd October 2020 to encourage fitness and help us all to get freedom from obesity, laziness, stress, anxiety, diseases etc. The concept behind this run is that “It can be run anywhere,
anytime !”.We at MAPS, would like to thank the authorities for giving us this opportunity to conduct Fit India Run Program in school. It was organized from 25.8.2020 - 20.9.2020 from classes III - XII . All Agrasanians , their parents and the staff members whole heartedly participated in MAPS FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN. As per the program, the participants were supposed to run/ jog / walk daily for physical fitness and organizers had to register their runs/marathons on Fit India portal . Posters and banners were also designed virtually to encourage everyone and keep their spirits high. Our physical education teacher Ms. Monika Sharma and Mr Mithilesh from the Computer department played a very crucial role in making this program a success.We have successfully uploaded the data in FIT INDIA PORTAL with total of 1285 participants from Maharaja Agarsain Public School ,Ashok Vihar Phase 4.The organisers and the participants have received their e-certificates for their efforts and contribution.

In recognition of the importance of sports in a childs life, MAPS celebrated its athletics meet where Pre school students participated in Pirates Treasure Race and Pre Primary students participated in Puddle Race
MAPS held its Athletics meet from 25 November 2019 in the school ground. Parents are also partners in the educational process. They also play an important role in a child’s school life. So, Pot balancing and slow cycle race was organise for parents also there they participated enthusiastically and enjoyed healthy competition with each other.
Fitness Week’ was celebrated with great excitement and energy in Maharaja Agarsain Public School. India’s traditional yet most relevant Yoga asanas were done by Agarsainians to build strength, flexibility and confidence. It helped students to manage their stress and anxiety. A special assembly was also conducted to highlight the importance of eating healthy food. Students personified themselves as various fruits and vegetables and spoke about their nutritious values.
